Our technicians are trained to move safely across roof framing and correctly identify soffit, ridge, and exhaust-fan issues that standard mold crews often miss.
We built this as its own specialty because attic work brings different hazards and different root causes than living-space mold.
Four reasons Des Plaines property owners trust us with this specific job.
Attic work brings its own hazards, and our crews are equipped specifically for it. We check attic insulation R-value while we're already up there assessing the mold.
Every Des Plaines attic job includes a ventilation assessment, not just a mold treatment. Our Des Plaines roof-access gear meets standard safety protocol for working above living space.
We match replacement insulation to your Des Plaines, IL property's original R-value specification. We check attic insulation R-value while we're already up there assessing the mold.
We'll tell you upfront whether your Des Plaines job needs interior access or can stay exterior-focused. Our Des Plaines roof-access gear meets standard safety protocol for working above living space.
Every Des Plaines job gets scoped to the specific problem, not a generic checklist.
We test the treated sheathing afterward to confirm the surface came back to normal.
Balancing intake and exhaust is often the single biggest factor in whether Des Plaines attic mold returns.
A shockingly common Des Plaines culprit: bathroom exhaust fans venting directly into the attic instead of outside through the roof or wall.
New insulation goes in only after the surface beneath it has been fully treated and verified.
We clean the whole affected zone, not just the most visibly stained rafters.
After treatment, we verify soffit-to-ridge airflow is actually working the way it's supposed to.
We keep this simple enough to explain before you book.
A quick call helps our Des Plaines dispatcher send the right equipment on the first visit. We'll give you a realistic arrival window rather than a vague estimate.
Response time in Des Plaines is typically same-day, faster for active emergencies. We arrive in marked vehicles with everything needed to start the assessment right away.
We inspect, test where needed, and give you a flat-rate quote before any work begins. Nothing gets added later that wasn't discussed and approved upfront.
You get documentation proving the work was completed to standard. We'll walk the space with you before calling it finished.

The questions we hear most about attic mold.
Condensation from trapped warm, humid air is often the real culprit, especially in colder months.
Only insulation that's been contaminated and can't be cleaned gets removed and replaced β we're not looking to upsell a full attic redo.
When roof access is workable, much of the job can happen without disturbing your living space.
Jobs requiring insulation replacement can run a day or two longer.
Sealing those gaps is sometimes part of the fix alongside the mold treatment itself.
